Just got your message & listened to the second tune. My first thought was Sonz Of Bungle - 'Rainbow Vibes' (it's on discogs if you want to listen) which was released in '93 but this is much more uptempo so I'm not sure to be honest.
Around the same time there was another version by some cheesy outfit whose name escapes me but I do remember it was something like 'Raynbow' and not the usual spelling.
If anything comes to mind, I'll let you know.
