Personally I think that cash rewards are a bad idea and a little pointless. Most, if not all, users on here will freely ID tunes if they know them so i don't see how offering a reward will make people know them any better. It may, eventually, cause problems as people who know that someone really wants an ID may hold back in the hopes that a reward will be offered for it.

I have to agree,
I am a bit of a train spotter and i think i have a good knowledge base of old skool from 1990 - 1992, (although i wouldnt say i am an expert)

I myself have tried to track down tunes so i know what a good feeling can come from getting a tune you have been after for 10+ years can bring.

I actually enjoy being able to help someone find a tune if i can.
is that not why we are all here?

Yes Laith, don't worry about it. I was only stating my opinion. I am very grateful to you for the tapes you sent me for helping you with your other IDs, but I would never ask for a reward for helping someone with an ID - like groovy, I do it for the love of the tunes! I just wish I could ID more.
