it is mc buzz b but its the original version that (unfortunatly) didnt get the same clearance as the commercial release. it wasnt promoed neither - it appeared as a white label test right at the start of 91 (i'm 100% with this cuz the lad i was sharing a house with got sent a copy). ive been after this since 91 and have never seen it anywhere. sasha used to play the last 2 mins or so of the track which was pure instrumental (apart from the some things will never change vocal) the previous 5-6 mins or so has all the vocals ala the finished released version. this vinyl is well and truly on my wants list. cheers.

Cheers all - I managed to get a copy of the original, and as of now waiting for it to arive through the post

Im also after this guys album/ The last tree ( Named after is 12" single) This is well hard to find - I got in contact with him about three years ago when he was doing stuff with Lionrock- and he even says himself that he know longer own's a copy

Looks like my search for this item of gold continues

Thankyou all very much, once again you have proved yourselfs to being in a class of your own when it comes to tune spotting

    Default not my copy va

    I reckon my copy............

been used as a frisbee by coxy at a big rave in a tent
'it landed on the floor' got trampled/danced on
sunk in to the mud and then found 10 years later by a treasure hunter

it still covered in muck, shit, chewing gum, white powder
    you name it

then sold on to the 2 very strange bearded guys who live in a piss smelling red hut in a mancunian market

and it cost me 25 p

A well travelled vinyl i'd say

    Default listened to my version

which is on polydor and is a 1991 release. The mix called the native mix has an instrumental break of about 3 mins in length with a breakbeat over it and original bruce hornsby samples

Erm - sounds like it's from '91 ish.

Kicks off with 'I know you're gonna dig this' vocal sample into a ravey scratch /breakbeat intro. Piano break kicks in pretty soon with the sample 'I told ya.. ooh!'.

Erm from then it's quite a hectic track, there's little vocal to speak of - just an assortment of samples - one being 'Only Oh Oh Oh Only Oh Oh Oh Only', another saying 'And Now Back'.

Just had a thought with the scratch intro - could be Sonz of a Loop / Danny Breaks or somethin' (prob way off though - I'd not noticed the correlation before!)

I know there's not much to go on, but maybe one of the others who've got the boot will know?
