Re: super duper trooper track 2.

    have a listen to this:

    http://www.tuneid.com/attachment.php...2&d=1147347725

This was confirmed as the EMS (well done Paul M) here...

    http://www.inthemix.com.au/forum/sho...d.php?t=165707

Hope that helps solve the mystery. Could be a different mix on the same 12 or possibly on your tape something else is mixed in.

I don't think it is mate, I reckon the one I'm after is 92-93 at latest, this one sounds a bit later.

Ste I know for a fact I've had a good few of them tunes mate but I am fooked if I can mind on what any of them are.
I was resident dj at Madisons (although tbh only one of them sounds like its from Madisons) and one of my mates who went with me every week has a much better memory when it comes to remembering the names of tunes from that era so I'll play them to him when I next see him if they aint been id'd by then.

Gary Robinson I think it was, knew who he was but didn't speak much to him in person, I think he moved from the area after not having much luck running club nights, or so I was told. Preferred Frenzie as an MC though

Why does that not shock me ?
Madisons was without a doubt the best club in Cumbria until that wanker got involved.
I played 1st, 3rd and last hour every Friday night in there and the place was always rammed, with an atmosphere that was as good as I have ever witnessed.
He was given a job mc'ing on a Friday and then stabbed the people in the back who he was working for to start another night in direct competition on the Saturday.
When I asked him if there was any chance of playing there on one of his nights, his reply was, "give me a mix tape and I'll see but I cant promise anything". Needless to say I never bothered.
The Friday nights were run on a shoe string budget but he somehow managed to pump enough cash into a Saturday to be able to afford PA's weekly. The novelty of this severely affected the Fridays, so much so, we called it a day.
Wasn't long before people realised that his night wasn't a patch on ours and it went pretty much as quickly as it arrived, don't think it lasted much longer than a month.
The man was a complete prick and you have no idea how much your comments have just made my day lol
Frenzie was quality back then and a good lad too.
If ever you see him about please tell him I was asking after him
