| | Some acid trance from circa -93/-94, part 2 Hello,
(Hopefully this subforum is more appropriate than where I posted part 1 )
Anyway, as I said in my first thread, I have an old mix tape from -93 or -94 with 23 acid trance (kind of) tracks on it. I have now been able to identify 14 of the 23 tracks, and the majority are from 1993 (one track was released in 1991 on an EP, but re-released in 1993 on a full album).
To create some context, here's a list of the tracks I've been able to identify this far: - DJ Gizmo - Waveform Controller
- The Mover & Lunatic Asylum - Slow Surfer
- Liquid Bass - Trancemission
- Acid Scout - 4 Degress
- Machine Codes - Crowd Eruption
- Mike Dred - Molecular Mutation
- Affie Yusuf - Chief
- Caution Acid - Tank
- FUSE - Substance Abuse
- The Hypnotist - Pioneers of the Warped Acid
- Acrid Abeyance - Exposure Track
- DATacide - The Ecstacy of Communication
- Very Interesting Progress - T.C.R.E.D.A.
- DJ Gizmo - N.A.S.A. (GIZMO Live)
The other 9 tracks are attached below - any ideas?
Cheers! IDs- A07. Track 07.mp3 = DJ X - Welcome to the Underground (Mix 2) (Welcome to the Underground EP)
- A08. Track 08.mp3 = Baphomet - Reconcile (The Force EP)
- A10. Track 10.mp3 = ?
- A11. Track 11.mp3 = ?
- A12. Track 12.mp3 = ?
- B01. Track 01.mp3 = ?
- B05. Track 05.mp3 = DJ Adam X - What's That!?! (C.H.U.D. EP)
- B08. Track 08.mp3 = ?
- B09. Track 09.mp3 = Temple of Acid - Temple of Acid (Temple of Acid EP)

| | I think A08 is from the B side of this record: Baphomet - The Force
I don't have my records with me now, so I can't verify. |

| | Hi,
I've found the A10 track on a mix set from 1993 by Frank de Wulf at The Ark. It consists of 2 mp3 files where "side 1" is 44:38 long and "side 2" is 37:46 long. The A10 track is starting at ca 1:30 on "side 2".
Now, does anyone know of a track listing for this set? I've googled like mad, but found nothing.
Cheers |

| | Ah, _that's_ the track I've been thinking about when I've listened to A10! I've been thinking that it really reminds me of something I've heard before...
Actually, I have already made the connection to Acrid Abeyance/Plank/Ascorbin Acid, since the style is similar (didn't think of Acid Wars though), and some month ago I did (tried to at least) an intense net search on those. The search was fruitless though, it's not easy to find tracks or music samples, even though I could rule out some of their tracks. |
