Default Some acid trance from circa -93/-94

Hi there,

In 1994 I got a mix tape from a friend with some acid trance (at least he called it that, puritans may disagree ). The tape was the nth generation copy of a tape made from some vinyls. He didn't know what the tracks were and I've only managed to pinpoint 2 (+11 since I posted this - yay) out of 23 tracks on the tape. (Sorry, wrote 13 tracks in total there before, but that was only the A side...) The majority (perhaps all, but there is some confusion) of the ones I've identified are from 1993.

I've been digging deep on the Internet to find something similar, but to no avail, so now I hope that someone here can help me. I will be eternally grateful So, here are 4 of the tracks (more later).

(EDIT: I'm sorry, I think I put this in the wrong subforum; maybe the Trance & Techno subforum would've been more suitable.)

EDIT: Since all of these are identified, I point at my other thread, with some more unidentified tracks from the same mix tape.

Score card
Cheers!

Thanks, mate I've tried to confirm that, but without luck so far. Anyone else who knows?

BTW, I've identified two of the other 13 tracks on the mix tape; they turned out to be Liquid Bass' "Trancemission" and The Hypnotist's "Pioneers of the Warped Acid". Both of these are from 1993, so I guess the tracks on the mix tape are from 1993 at the latest. (Okey, not the most reliable induction proof, but still...)

...but all four above are still up for cracking

YES! You were right, oakgreen vw The A02 is The Mover & Lunatic Asylum - "Slow Surfer", from this or this record. I'm getting slightly confused with the release year(s) for the tracks on the tape now. Discogs.com says 1995 on both "Frequency Surfers" releases, but the file I could confirm it with was tagged with 1993. Hm...

Anyway, I'll edit my first post with this find.

Okay, A01 is DJ Gizmo - Waveform Controller from California Dreams Volume 2.

I've actually managed to identify 13 of the 23 tracks on the tape now. lavabeat.net and, in particular, mp3skyline.com both have a huge number of mp3 tracks, with listening samples. I'll continue looking for the other 10 tracks there, but I'll probably post a bunch of them here too

BTW, in the A07 track there is a sampling of a voice saying "welcome, to the underground". I've been searching for this a whole lot without success. But, I've found an EP called exactly "Welcome to the Underground" by a DJ X, on discogs.com. Could it be possible that any of you here know if A07 is any of those two tracks?

EDIT: Yes, it is! I just got it confirmed
