    Marrs Pump up the volume had the lyric

    The 'Pump up the Volume' sample from the track is from Eric B and Rakim-I Know you got soul. 'So you sit by the radio, hand on the dial soon as ya hear it 'pump up the volume'. Ed

    Don't know which song is the 'remote control' one though.

    This song is made up of about 250 samples. The line, "Pump Up The Volume" came from "I Know You Got Soul" by Eric B. & Rakim. Other samples include Coldcut's 1987 song "Say, Kids What Time Is This" and James Brown's "Funky Drummer." It also contains 3 seconds of Stock Aitken & Waterman's song "Roadblock," but the group didn't get official clearance and Peter Waterman placed an injunction for 5 days while the copyright issues were worked out. www.djprince.no Pump up the volume try here also it tells you some of the original funk trax where the old hip hop artists sampled em from

    HAvnt lookes for it on discogs , but i came across it looking at the underused "Hip Hop & Electro" Forum section about a year ago.
