The ying-ying song
Hi. I've been trying to find a track for years, from back when I used to frequent Dust @ Club Liquid in Leeds in about 1998. If was a deep, funky disco house track, with a female lead vocal. I guess it could have been released earlier than 1998, Dust had a habit of playing damn nearly everything irrespective of genre or age.
The lyrics started out with something like "Remember me ... and all the things we used to do, baby", and had a chorus of "Ying ying-ying-ying ying-ying ying ying, ying ying ying-ying-ying-ying-ying ying-ying." x a lot.
I'm drawing a complete blank tracking it down; it's not my usual style, and searching for 'ying' just gets me the Ying-Yang Twins, The Goons and a variety of Chinese music. Please help.
