Default Unknown Merv Pepler/Eat Static tracks, 1991-92

    Hi All,
It's (almost) out of question that these tracks were done by Merv Pepler (Eat Static), but I didn't find them anywhere on the Eat Static albums/singles (I listened through everything I could from them before 1994). Could be a side project or unreleased tracks (probably due to uncleared samples)?

However as these are from a mixtape (the first 4 tracks on side A), they are probably not _that_ rare.

Any input would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Edit: SOLVED - these tracks are unreleased ... confirmed by the artist!

I think you may be correct about cleared samples, this release under a pseudonym (Cosmic Journey Project) has the exact sample from ID1 but is different

Oh yes, thanks for the input!!! In fact, this exact CJP track was the next on the mixtape, after the four Eat Static unknowns - further confirming that these unknowns are indeed Eat Static related.
Again, the tracklisting of the mixtape so far:

If 50% or more of the tracks will be identified, I'll create an entry for this on MixesDB. On the other hand I have tried asking around on the Ozric Tentacles forum and someone suggested I could try contacting Eat Static through their facebook (which is an excellent idea!)

    Edit: Tracklist complete!

Sorry for the poor help, but contacting Eat Static is a superb idea, I contacted DJ Brisk on Twitter a couple of years ago and he ID'd a track for me within 2 hours! So I would certainly contact Merv (Eat Static) via social media, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and boy do you post some awesome tracks for ID

Well, I wrote to Merv/Eat Static, will see whether there is a response... Oh... thank you! As for the tunes, I think the credit goes mainly to Mixtape Arkivet and their donors, it's a VAST archive (from Goa to Ibiza to Detroit and everything between!) and of course everyone here at Tune ID, the knowledge people have here is just AMAZING! (I wish there would be a Tune ID / Discogs oldskool techno meetup party somewhere - I'd buy the plane ticket immediately!) ... (oops, edited the link to the Side B mp3!)

Alright - Merv kindly wrote back on FB and told he remembers these tracks from back then but they never got released. I quite like these tracks and wish they were available in better quality but I'm afraid that won't happen soon - but who knows...

Thanks guys, excellent job as always!
We are at well over 50% so I created an entry on MixesDB (and also updated the tracklist in the previous post):
    https://www.mixesdb.com/w/1991_-_Unk...t_3_(MTA_0191)

Yeah, I also wish these Eat Static tracks won't remain on the shelf (for too long at least)
Hopefully the remaining tracks will also be found at some point, I like the first few tracks on Side B!

Sorry buddy, no damn luck finding it (track at 35mins side A)

Been looking on Discogs all evening (Diki Records etc)
It is clearly a different mix of this audio clip, so if anyone can ID this then it will lead to the 12"

I was sure it was on Diki, but could also be another Belgian or even Dutch label.

    So annoying

Yes, that sounds like the same track... I also can't ID it but it might be found by someone at some point. Thanks for trying though!

Found that 'mystery' track on Side A @ 35:00 ->
    Vinyl Countdown - Sensolution
    https://www.discogs.com/Vinyl-Countd...release/187441
Not sure which mix as this one is quite hard to get in MP3...

Excellent, thanks for the help with that! Meanwhile, I have extracted the remaining 6 ID's... in reality it's only 5 as "b-08_52" and "b-10_18" are two versions of the same tune.

    a-26_24.mp3 - FOUND: Origin - Morbid II [Hithouse - HIT 6.009]
    b-04_35.mp3 - FOUND: Free Zone - Change It (Instrumental) [X-Energy - X-12093]
b-08_52.mp3 - FOUND: Zinnia - Corruption (Extended Version) [Dance Opera - DO 332]
b-10_18.mp3 - FOUND: Zinnia - Corruption (To The Low Mix) [Dance Opera - DO 332]
    b-29_48.mp3 - FOUND: Coma Club - Untitled (B1) [R&S - CC-1]
b-34_09.mp3 - FOUND: Anne Dudley & Jaz Coleman - Ziggarats Of Cinnamon (Techno Pharoah Mix) [TVT - TVT3311-1]
