No probs, any help is appreciated in tracking this tune down.

What countries would you say the sound stemmed from? London UK, or just UK.
Were there any vocals? Not that I know of.
What feel was it? Deep? Breakbeat? Acid? Just a house tune with samples.
What instrument/hardware feel did it have? All electric with samples.
Can you remember the label? Artwork? Colour? No, I believe it was a white label at the time.
Did the station get sent the vinyl? Did someone buy it? I believe all jocks had it to play in the playlist at the time, being a white label it could have either been sent or bought from Blackmarket Records
Any DJ play it live? If so, who? where? Haven't heard it yet on all the copies of the station shows as yet, but the online one's recorded is only about 10% of the overall that was played, given we are now back again, one of my jocks did play it some months ago which was the reminder to find it, only he can't remember which it was grrr lol

Afraid none of those, its the finger snap beat quite prominent as well as the ricochet sample (not necessarily a bullet) throughout most of it, def a house tune from the late 80's only played on the pirate stations of the day.

When you say all electric - can you do more on this? What machine is being used - is there a 303 or 808 sound -- you know, most tunes have a feel of what's created it.

Was there an M1 in play?
    Was the bass a 303?
    The beat a 808?
    Was there a melody?
How did you drop the tune?
How did you exit the tune?

If it came in via white-label - what was written on the label? How good was the pressing? How was the weight? Sleeve?

    This is interesting.

Hmm tbh mate, I don't think I can answer any of those, other than it was a classic back that was played many times on the pirates.

Thanks anyway though guys, yeah it interesting, btw once we find it you will all know it lol.

Well did say we weren't fully sure as it was almost 30 years ago now lol, but we did get the ricocheting sample sound sort of right as that's exactly what it sounds like lol
