    Default Early-mid 80`s hip hop/electro song.

A schoolfriend gave me a tape with a song on which I really liked but the tape got stretched and snapped, well it was over 25 years old!
It also had Electro 5, Boogie down Bronx, and some Newcleus on it so I`m assuming the track I`m looking for was about 1984.

    Some of the lyrics:-

    Chorus
"Don`t tell me what is good for me. What`s good for me, is what I see. I`ve had enough of your reality. What`s good for me, is what I see."

    some of the verse

"I met you at the secretary pool. I thought that I was in control. The victim`s always the last one to know."

It was a sung by a man with a deepish voice but also has high notes.

The beat was pretty good to work out to.

Hopefully someone will remember this and put me out of my misery.

Don't know if you're still in this thread, but i found it by googling for the lyrics.

The group you are looking for is "Planet Patrol".

The tune to those lyrics is called:
    "Planet Patrol - Don't Tell Me" (1982)

    Enjoy
