It doesn't even have to be a definitive ID - anything would do - just a little hint! Please!
Is it film music; I even thought it might be Krautrock-ish?
you could try contacting him...?

Thanks for the suggestion Barticle. I tried through Discogs, but the messaging system seems to be a bit flaky. I'm not sure the messages got through.
oddly enough i originally put the link for his Discogs profile, then noticed that he doesn't actually have the Contact option there now so i had to change it quickly to his Myspace one! (hence the edit on my msg)
the messaging system on Cogs works fine as long as the recipient checks their inbox or has email notifications turned on, and has the time to reply i guess.
Still looking.
Bump.
I'd love to know this one too.
Still searching. Years drift by; frustration grows.
Bump.
This track remembers me the ethnic sound from Deep Forest. maybe a track from them?

Hi bleepbleep. Are you still searching for this? I had this mixtape years ago but unfortunately it's been lost along the way. I've spent many years trying to find the mix online with no success but my search has brought me to your thread. Hopefully this will end your misery! The track is Merge by Steve Roach

Thanks for the reply - I'd forgotten about this thread. After a lot of faffing around with Audition & Shazam, I eventually ID'ed it. It wasn't until recently though. It's a lot slower in the MMM set, which I've got used to over the years, and think I prefer. Drop me a private message / email if you want to listen to the set again.
