Thread: Graeme Park tune 92-93 used guitar break from Ellis D dub break

Default Graeme Park tune 92-93 used guitar break from Ellis D dub break

Tune I'm after used an expanded section of the guitar riff sample in this tune Ellis D- Dub break

A mate used to have a copy and it was on a US label, black and yellow cover, possibly Apexton records or one of them obscure labels. The name escapes me now.

It had a nice 4/4 beat, pretty sure there were no vocals and it always raised a huge cheer in the Hacienda when it got dropped!

Well the whole sound is based around this original:

YouTube - The Salsoul Orchestra Ooh, I Love It (Love Break Groove)

Maybe that will help you locate your track?

I'll try and find an mp3 of Fruit loops and have a listen.

    Thanks!

Ok, I found an mp3 of the tune on OLA, it looks as though it hasnt been identified as yet...

Its not Pal Joey Raw love as I listened to that on traxsource already.

Definitley sounds like a housed up version of MSFB - 'Love is the Message'.

Try track D2 from this: Various - Best Of House Music Vol. 2 - Gotta Have House (2xLP, Comp) at Discogs

Hi Flagger - i used to go to the hac round that time and I'm thinking the tune you're after is "Night Is Over" on JPR Records. You can find out more download an MP3 here

    http://http://testpressing.org/2009/...cords-special/

If it is the right one you can buy a copy here

Demonstration - Night Is Over / Born To Love Jpr Records Inc. Vinyl Record - Jpr 101

tis a great tune and still cuts the mustard today .....as well as Salsoul orchestra it also samples " Earth People - Dance" which is a Pal Joey production.

    Hope this helps

Think it actually samples Carl Bean which was sampled by Earth People I think.
