Thread: A famous last tune at the Hacienda

Default A famous last tune at the Hacienda

Can anyone help me hunt down this track. It used to get hammered by Graeme Park - always last tune at the Hacienda circa 1994.
I used to have it on 12" but have lost it and can't remember the title.

It's lyrics are "night after night, day after day, I pray it's with me you'll stay, sharing your joy, joy from above, won't you bring me all your love"
It then used to repeat this line and the place used to take off as it peaked.
    What a tune.

Can anyone help with a title and the artist, as Im keen to track it down again.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Best regards, PCC.

I'm also looking for the following tracks from some of my old mix tapes.

    1) An old piano tune which goes "your personality is special, special to me, wait a minute" then kicks into the piano.
    Another great track.

    2) Another old skool track which goes "Feeling good, we're not we're not feeling, Feeling good, we're not we're not feeling, Feeling good, we're not we're not feeling, way hey, he, he hay. And I feel good"
    Or something like that
    Any one got any ideas?

    3) This ones a house classic with a great vocal with the following lyrics "another man has beaten my time, another man has loved mine"
"anotherr man, another man, what can I do, what can I say"

    4) This one is amid tempo house/club track I presume its called Imagination with the lyrics "People all around they have a care, it's a beautiful sight to see, hey, hey Imagination, come on, come on give it to me"
It then has a great bit of tinkly piano.

    5) This one must be called "Summmer Breeze" and is an old track, but the version I'm looking for has a drum and bass/jungle type beat.

That's all for now. If anyone can help with any of thr above I'd be very grateful.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards, PCC

Dogman thanks for the feedback, you got the Barbara Mason.

Steph, different class 2 out of 2.
It;s funny as soon as I saw the titles I remembered them.
It must be the amnesia caused by too many good nights clubbing.

Thank you to you both for your feedback, very much appreciated.

Anybody any feedback on 4 and 5.

Also has anybody got any links to these tracks, as I'd love to have them again.

    Best regards, PCC

    Hi,
Barbara Mason - 'Another Man' (track 3) is the disco/soul classic original.
But I have a feeling you are looking for the house cover version:
Shy One - 'Another Man' (Olympic Records) - a great house cover.
A few good mixes but I think the Matthew Roberts and Fire Island ones are the best.

I now have the following info.

    1. Medium High - The Pleasure (Chris and James remix)
    2. Katherine E - Then I feel good

    4. ????? I'm still struggling with this one. Any further ideas??
    5. Spiral feat Lisa Lamb - Summer Breeze

Once again. Thank you to all for your help and if anyone can throw any light on Number 4 - Imagination lyrics - then please let me know.

    Best regards, PCC.
