just stumbled across this while looking for an id from the same mix.

i can't help out with the missing id's (sorry!) but raindance 3 is the end of big showdown being mixed with the middle of dupree-brass disk (brassing the madness remix), there isn't another track in there.
pls let me know if you ever workout id 10. thx!

A10 - Theres a sample in there from Sir Lord Comic - The Great Wuga Wuga.

It's a Ska tune from 1966. Longsy D used it in his 89 tune - This is Ska.

He had a hand in quite a few tunes around the time, so it might be a good path to go down to nail the tune.

    Maybe.

A1: I think its few tunes which are played in quick sequence.

    1: Sleazy D - I've Lost Control (Space Mix)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mK1KqXdrss
    (two copies)

    2: unknown tune

    3: Lost Entity - 2 Minute Madness
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRzWuiVE8E8

The unknown tune (2) has baffled me for yonks -- I dont know if its an abstract, acid jazz or an Ennio Morricone western tune.

As nebkins mentioned -- Bizzy B used it - so theres a few paths persue!

    It might be a complete production --- which is un-released -- but there's also the possibility it's a 3/4 track quick-flip introduction .....

either way---i think its a fantastic example of where bukem's mind was at -- and where it was going.

    A10: There's a bit of Bronski Beat - It Ain't Necessarily So

You'll recognise which part quite easily. Might provide a few more paths to go down!

Isn't this set from Raindance: The Egg in March '91? That's the first flyer that Bukem's name appears on, doesn't appear on any of the flyers from 1990. And many of the tracks on this mix are from 1991.

Bizzy B said a while back his sample of track 1 was taken off a beats breaks and scratches type LP, it isn’t any of the Simon Harris ones on Music Of Life, so I’m checking all the others from that era.

Anyone have any of these? I have 4 and it isn’t on that https://www.discogs.com/artist/44584...al-Unknown-DJs

Finally found Raindance 1, it’s Larri (Larry Joseph) - House Music (Party Right).

Just need to nail that Raindance 10 track now people.
