Thread: Art of Noise - Moments In Love + Phuture - We are Phuture mash up

Default Art of Noise - Moments In Love + Phuture - We are Phuture mash up

I refer to a track surely made between 1988-90.

It is basically a mash up of
The Art of Noise "Moments In Love"
    YouTube - Moments in Love

    and

Phuture - We Are Phuture. (yt link below)
YouTube - Classic Acid House - Phuture - We Are Phuture

It has precisely the same start as Moments in Love, including the piano, and after the intro We Are Phuture comes into it. I guess it is just this exact version of Moments In Love with Phuture mixed in.

It's to die for and actually blows this mix of Phuture out of the water IMO. Although I am quite sure it is not by Phuture or The Art Of Noise, and taking a stab in the dark of my memory, the vinyl could possibly have a smiley face on the label. I once saw the record but cannot remember anything else about it. Although I do not have a copy of the actual track, if you listen to the yt clips I provided links for, you will know if you familiar with it or not.

Been after it close to 20 years now...belter of a tune imo

Cheers Doolz, stunningly quick reply. Thx

Although the review of Art Of Phuture describes exactly what I am referring to, the question mark for me is the release date being 2005, plus the artist, which mentions nothing about the "original" that I am talking about. I guess its possible that original is not even listed on discogs nor by this artist. This is a bit of a tricky one.... Have you heard the track I am talking about?

Goddammmmm. The end of a mystery. I can't tell you how happy I am that this has finally been put to rest. Hard to imagine after that amount of time that it took someone a matter of minutes to identify. Better late than never and big thanks to doolz & 8anana you definitely did a good deed for the day!!

...and happily enough there was one copy on discogs (of the Original pressing) which I have since ordered. Worth a little more than the repress, but cant wait to receive it and play it very loud!!
