its definately not the morales mixes that came out a couple of years later, it probably the roger s or the fire island mixes

Yes that's definitely the Fire Island remix - an extremely dope remix that I remember Tony Humphries playing an awful lot back in 1993.

There have been many releases of this, but I did come across perhaps the rarest of the "Caught In The Middle" releases - the 2x12" UK promo on Slam Jam Records with the following tracklisting:
