Can anyone help???

I don't have a sample of this tune but I have got on the old roland and banged out a snippet that sounds similar myself.

This tune is from early 1992, played by Colin Faver amongst others and features a big bleepy sample and hold sweep at the beginning before going into a brooding handclap heavy growler with a deep b-line and occasional whispered female vocals (possibly in french).

I've replayed the main riff myself on the enclosed mp3 and if anyone can identify this for me they'll have ended a 14 year mystery.

Can't see it being "Rock to the Beat", I think I've got all the versions of that (including the new one). The audio is fairly accurate (I've used the same sounds -even to the extent of sampling the synth line from a tune that amost certainly sampled it from the track I'm after). I remember this tune so vividly and it still does my head in.....
