    Default Name That Toon!!

Ok then guys, well all I have or can make out of this tune is something like this.....
'Keep it on in my words...so...so....Keep it on in my words...so...so....Keep it on in my words....so....so......a-and I'll be once again.

This line repeats itself, could be saying 'so..on' istead of 'so-so' to much hissing form the tape.I think it is possibly froom '92 or '93.

    Default this sounds familiar

the lyrics that you've given there sound like the rap from Sound-source take me up.

They say "Blow ya mind with xxxx keepin on with my words so strong "

But it looks like it's been ripped and put on another track...

"Keepin on with my words so strong....keepin on with my words so strong"

"pure protection from beginning to the end". I'm here once again

Anyone else any other ideas ????

    Default Accapella

The accapella rap was also sampled by....

LOCK & LOAD - BLOW YOUR MIND (Dutch Blue White Recs)

This tune is from '99, not very old considerin' the actually accapella rap has been around for 11 years, theres bound to be loads more artists who have sampled it!

Default What mix would I be looking???

Hey guys, thanks for the quick response on that I.D.
I know that I am on the right track now,or should I say sample.
Just what I would like to know does anybody know the actual name & label of the one that was being hammered in '92-'93??
This is the one I am after. It has a bouncy type bassline with the..

"Keepin on with my words so strong....keepin on with my words so strong"

"pure protection from beginning to the end". I'm here once again

It may well be Italian or a white label or even remixes.
I heard Carl Cox mixing it one night way back at Circus Circus N.I.

If you have any more info I would be grateful,or if anybody knows where I can get my paws on a copy

Thanks again for all the assistance!!!

I think I know the one you mean. I don't know the name but have always wanted to know

    The track uses the
'Keepin' On With My Words So Strong
Keepin' On With My Words So Strong
Keepin' On With My Words So Strong
Pure perfection come again and to the end...
    I'm here once again'

then there's a 155bpm kick and stab pattern before vocal

'Why can't we see, we've got to live together
we've got to come to, we've got to come to,
    We've got to come together.

I know Carl Cox and Bass Generator played it at Fantazia (The Big Bang?) in 1993ish, but Bass Generator played it at 180bpm!

I'd have guessed that this is some early Dutch / Scottish bouncy hardcore - it could be the french one mentioned before though.

Default Bass Generator - The Event

Cheers Skippy - Another tune that's name has escaped me for a long time.

Do you know anyone who has a spare vinyl to offload?

    Cheers
