@ bpm, no it's not Marco Polo.
it is : Audio One - Need U Now

Yes and no qpchan. There seems to be messy story behind this.

The original release is indeed on Audio One (aka Jörg Burger). But there is a remix EP that came out about a year later by two guys - Kim Da Silva and Maurice Conroy - who call themselfes Marco Polo that contains the 2 original mixes of "Need You Now" Marco Polo - Need U Now - Remix EP (Vinyl) at Discogs

The Marco Polo EP gives no credit to Audio One. On the Audio One it says "Samples & Additional Arrangement supplied by DJ Kim Da Silva". So it looks a bit like Burger and Da Silva worked together on the original track but that Da Silva later thought that Burger deserves no credit. On both records it says that they were recorded at "The Fortress of Solitude" in London.

I was only aware of the Marco Polo release at the time, so that's how the id came about. It's still the right tune though.

You're right Bunker, thought about that too. I will add the info soon.

    I've added the info Bunker.

Interestingly it turned out that the "Original Version" and "The Hot Tub Dub" are not exactly identical on the two releases after all. For example the "Original Version" on the Marco Polo EP uses the "do it" sample in some places where the original mix of the Audio One EP doesn't. The "Hot Tub Dub" on the Audio One has more percussion than the "Hot Tub Dub" on the Marco Polo etc. Most of the differences are minimal though, especially on the "Original Version". Had to listen to the tracks side by side on the left and right speaker of my headphones to spot them.

top job bpm, nice to see you back in full effect
loving those reviews on Discogs, bloody useful.
but, the ID on here must be the Audio One track, this Laurent Garnier mix is from middle of 91, the Marco Polo 12" seems like it came out in 92.
