Default Graeme Park - Hacienda Sept 93

    Hi All,

Need help with a Graeme Park Hac tune from Sept 93...

lots of words, so hopefully someone will know.

    Goes like this:

    " Joy we're givin, joy we're livin" x 6
" Better look around to what we have found,
all our dreams will be turned into sorrow,
the time is now at hand, for us to make a stand,
reachin out for a higher tomorrow
SLOW PIANO... " so deep into love x 2, set me free from love"

    Anybody know?

    Thanks,
    Stuart.

    Hey Stuart,

Did you ever find out the name of this one? I'm after it too. I have it on an old Graeme Park tape from Hot to Trot early 1994. It's actually the last tune play by Allister Whitehead though before Parky's set.

    Hi Steve,
Unfortunately I've not id'd it yet..I'm still trying though..I've had it on here a couple more time with samples..members suggested it could be a MK or Stonebridge type mix but I can't find any of their remixes which look like it..

I even emailed Graeme Park but didn't really expect a reply..however, he was excellent and replied straight away, he said the tune was familiar but he couldn't remember it..

I know there's a couple of other people after it as well, so hopefully it'll get id'd one day..
    Cheers,
    Stu

    Hi Stu,

Is Allister Whitehead contactable by email as it was Allister who played it?

    Hi Steve,

Don't know? On Discogs, his url is this..give it a go, you never know you're luck...
Allister Whitehead on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos
I've got a sample of the mix Graeme Park played on my home pc ( I'm at work at the mo ), so let me know if you need me to upload a sample. I reckon the mix you're after is different from mine as the version Graeme Park played is quite slow & deep. If Ali Whitehead played it at the end of a set I guess it was really uptempo...As long as we can get the name that's all we need though...
    Cheers,
    Stu

    Steve,
This one is so annoying me....I've spent ages trying to id this...????

It does sound very much like a stonebridge production to me, but no luck searching through discogs...

    Hope someone can nail it...

    Cheers,
    Stu

Not heard anything yet. It took a few weeks for him to respond last time so I guess he only looks at MySpace occassionally. I'll be sure to post if/when I get a response.
