According to the man himself he took the acapella from Massive Attack's first single called Any Love. I'd put the discogs link but the site seems to be down.

The original tune is Chaka Khan 'Any Love' ..didn't realize Massive Attack had covered it.

Here's the conversation I had with the man himself.

    Dara: question
Dara: about a 92 tune of yours :-)
    Dara: Examine The Plannin
Dara: where the female vocal from??
    ldouble: smith and mighty...bristol
    ldouble: 3stripe recs .any love

Can anybody shed any light? Is the Smith & Mighty a different tune??

PS: Doolz. I have that Joy In The Jungle tune for ya. You know the drill!!

Well the ones on discogs are called "Anyone" He says it was called "Any Love" which is the title of THIS Massive Attack track. I'll ask him again.
