    Default Grooverider - Eclipse 1991/2

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYS9vIca4fY

More of a mix id than a tracklist at this stage.

Need confirmation that this is Grooverider (from the tune being played id say yes) and if this is either the correct 8 or 11 tape as the tracklists for those tapes do not sound like Grooverider at all (one is deffo Carl Cox and the other doesn't follow in line with tracks he played on either his 9 or 12 tapes).

In my opinion it sounds like a Carl Cox set, but I m probably wrong, I cannot recall hearing or owning this tape.

I reckon if each track isn't played for very long before the next mix. It's probably Carl Cox

None of Grooverider's tapes have quick mixing in them. He always plays tunes most of the way through.

It sounds Feb 92 as well
    Hope this helps

Just my opinion but If anything the mixing reminds me of JJF , the rider was smoother. Carl cox would have banged them in & cut more.

Maybe an Eclipse Jumping Jack Frost 1 & a half lol

Yeah this is tracklisting I have for it but I find it hard to believe Rider played Raving Im Raving, Digital Orgasm and Rhythm Eternity as they don't appear on any of his other early 1992 tapes

The thing that always struck me about this tape, is that you can hear MC Richie introduce himself and DJ Shock C with "Ok right about now it's what you've been waiting for...". No offense, but would you really say something like that if Grooverider (or any other headline DJ) was still standing there slipping his last tune back in its sleeve?
