Default Dave Angel track 1993 - Sample - Too scared to close your eyes

    Apologies for the poor recording.

Dave Angel with a big techno trance track possibly of German origin as the man himself said it was a white possibly from Frankfurt.

Sample in track is female saying too scared to close your eyes during the breakdown.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Been through those 2 labels already and pretty much all the German labels I could think of.
The acid in it sounds a lot like the Hardfloor style so checked their remixes and couldn't find anything.

I recognise it.. And something tells me it’s not German… it maybe a red herring… Dave has helped me lots over the years.. Few German tunes turned out to be Belgium… Few Belgium tunes turned out to be US.. ..And I don’t think this one is from Germany..

What set was it played in out of interest scamartist?

I think it’s from US.. And maybe on a blue vinyl.. I'll have a dig in the crates for it….

Gorgeous Blue Vinyl it is aswell.. And an obscurity.. I could be wrong… Same sounding vocals.. Dave used too double the pitch levels up… I’m thinking the mix u have there is not available to confirm .. I think it’s The Bonus Beats??

If it’s not that... Look into Sleepy C on Psychoactive label… I’m Trying to pin it down!

Its not on the Darwin Chamber release.

It was played at Love Nation Saarbrucken 06/11/93.

Reminds me a bit of Edenhouse on Rising High which is a German production.

Tried the first link on Xtra Terrestrial Recordings and the style of that is similar although not quite as trancey.
I think the track will be from 93 or early 94 based on when it was played out by Dave in Germany.

I'm the same as you in that I know I have definitely heard it but just cant seem to place it.

Pretty sure I had this on a 12" from 1994, It was German, the only thing I can recall is it had all compounds as the track names.

Things like Dioxmethyldrone, etc, Not even sure it was that 12", but the song sounds very familiar and I did own some good early trance 12" back then

Someone over on Discogs ID'd the track its New Decade - Blind Vision on the Out Of Romford label so definitely not German.
Knew I had heard it before.
