"the chicken" (james brown/jb's track)... but who by?

hello it's me again - here's another track from my old tape collection without an artist credit: it's obviously a version of the old james brown/jb's soul-jazz-funk instrumental standard "the chicken", but i've no idea by who...

my guess is it's a later incarnation of the jb's (or james brown band or one of them credited as leader such as maceo, pee wee or fred wesley) - someone taped it for me circa 1997/98
