Production Trend: Korg M1 "Deep House" Organ Bass

Around 1990, Robin S. had the hit single "Show Me Love". This used the Korg M1 Patch #17 "Organ2", and spawned* a trend in a whole lot of house tracks in the early 90s that suddenly got some "House Remix", supposedly spreading some magic dust on the track to make it sound deep.

*please let me know if there were house tunes earlier than Robin S. who used the synth patch in the same way.

I'm doing the tough task of tagging my mp3 library by famous instruments. I've finished the tracks containing TB-303s, but that list is way too long to include here :fekked: I'm now starting to tag the Korg M1 organ bass (or similar sounds), and wanted to share my results with you. Some of it may come in handy to people trying to ID tunes that use this instrument.

nope, haha... but I'm at about 1500 so far, tagging them as I play them.

Great idea m8, but because that organ sound got sampled, it will be so ubiquitous, it would hard to work out what is sampled and which is synthesizied.
