I have made contact with some of the DJs who worked the weekend 'dance' slots on that radio station, they confirm that tape was recorded just before christmas 2000. I have managed to message the DJ who's show I recorded (Kev Scott) and asked him if he can ID the tune. Finger crossed...

It has been identified as Stonebridge vs twin - Calling (stonebridge mix)
