Carl Cox mc Magika (93to96?)

Hi There!! I have a copy of a carl cox/mc magika tape from about 93 to 96, there is a tune on it with the words "Give me the music" and then a Brilliant piano riff. Could any of you helpful people id this tune for me please?? :)

It used to be a big ark tune

arh no i know this one too, gonna have to join the brain :confused: freeze club for a while until it comes to me.

i dont have the tape, but around 1993 one 11 one released a tune called 'i want you' on reinforced - it has the sample you describe and then the piano then a load of cls samples.

hi mate, I think you might find that it is 'Hardbeat - Give me the Music' Can't think of the label off hand sorry! but it was a big tune he played a lot!

You're right olly I'm almost certain its One II One - I Want You (manix remix) from 1992/3.

definitley gonna stick my neck out and go with my Hardbeat - Give me the music, went home and put it on last night to be sure, on FX Records in case you need that info! Had it on a few old Cox tapes, from late 92!

Cheers Gav, is there any chance of a sound clip, then i can see if it is the same tune as i have on my tape?!?! It defo only say's "GIVE ME THE MUSIC" on this tune and like i said it has a very distinctive piano riff, which is class!!! :D

you could be right gav i've not herd the tune you mention.

seems to be a copy going on Gemm, probably the first place you looked mate but in case you hadn't!!
