Lost Piano Gem
Back in 1993 I bought a Promo copy of Network Retro #6 at EASTERN BLOCK and it had a gorgeous laid back Piano tune on it.
Because it was a Promo Copy it had 4 tunes instead of 2
Now on the official release copy had
My Friend Sam - It,s My Pleasure
Pandella - This time baby
Can somebody tell me what where the names of the other two tunes on the promo copy as one of them was the nice piano one.
Unfortunately I lost my Promo copy in a Club fire and I would love to know what it was.
Many thanks

Can't say ive ever seen a promo of the back to back series so i couldn't say for certain, but here's a couple of possibilties from the network label that fit the bill. Ed
YouTube - C&M Connection - Another Night (Electro Mix) 1990
YouTube - Neal Howard -- Indulge

Thanks for the reply,
Unfortunately its not either one of the ones you mentioned, thanks for going to the trouble of puting up the links for the tunes.
All I can remember about the record was that it had a silver label with "Network Retro".... "For Promotional Use Only".... it was Clear vinyl with a Pink Cover and had four tracks on it.
As it was the Retro series, the tune it was probably a few years older, or someone had remixed it.
It would be interesting to know if Network actually got people like Nexus 21 to remix Tracks for their Retro series of releases.
Best regards

If i was guessing i'd say its either Kate B-Free(Nexus 21 Remix) or Tyree-My Melody

Well I've got one with 4 tracks on too.
Apart from My friend Sam, Rhythm Quest and Forgemasters it's got Ronni Simon - Take you there (play boys vocal) which is a very laid back piano tune. Is it that do you think?

Could it possibly be Reese Project, The The Colour Of Love (UR Mix) which was featured on Network Retro #7? YouTube - The Reese Project - The Colour Of Love (Underground Resistance 12" Mix) - Giant Records - 1992

Thanks to all for replying but unfortunately its none of the ones mentioned, if anybody has any more ideas please suggest them.
