Lyrics as best as I can make out:
I'm high as a pie in the sky
My searching minor keeps me moving on
Cry cry after saying goodbye
Can't break these chains of love

Oh oh oh oh
Chains chains chains
Chains of love
ch, ch, ch chains of love
oh oh oh oh
Chains chains chains
Chains of love

These chains of love, hold us together as one

Ch, ch, ch, chains, chains of love

Fly fly if you know how to fly
Like the sun, moon and the stars above
Hide hide but theres no place to hide
You cannot ....

Hi! Just a quick note (and please pardon my music production geek attitude): this song has a rhythm entirely made on a TR-909 drummachine (the backbone of the techno and house sound). Although this drummachine did come out in 1984, initially only a few 909 sounds appeared on records. A rhythm that was entirely made on a 909 was almost unheard of before 1988.

The sound of this particular rhythm pattern, however, reminds me of how house music sounded between 1991 and 93, so just guessing from the rhythm, I would date this song between 1991-93. (I'd be surprised if it turned out to be from the 1980s though.)
Just my 2 cents on the thread... :)

hightype, thanks for your hint! Maybe you are right. This record was made by my friend, but does not remember when. If it's the beginning of 90's, then this track can be transferred to : Old Skool Classics (1987-1993)

@Ref:
It could be worth to give it a try on that subforum... it also seems to have more traffic!

@Chiz:
You're right... that's why I wrote 'almost' ;) (There is also the oversampled Schoolly D - P.S.K. from 1985) I could have written that full 909 rhythms started to become mainstream in 1988, or something to that effect...
