I haven't got a great deal to go on.

The track had a female vox and I believe she sang lyrics that were either “its not time for Love” or “its now time for love” just to confirm I don't think is the jeannie tracy track or if it is it is a mix that I can't find.
Also I am pretty sure the track sampled the disco loop of Diana Ross Upside Down (but it could have been Chic “i want your love”).

Judge Jules played it for a fair while on Kiss fm around 92 maybe 93 at the latest

Thanks but its not that. I think its more than likely 1992 but could be early 93.

the track is really a disco loop which I am pretty sure was Diana ross' upside down main riff with the vocal over the top. But its so long since I heard it. I am sure it must be an obscure track but remember Jules was playing it a lot on his Kiss fm show

will try again for this one. Big Judge Jules tune around 92 or 93. Played for a good 5-6 weeks on his Kiss FM show on Friday night.

Vocal was "it's not time for love" or "it's the time for love" or "it's now time for love"

Had a disco loop as well which I think sounded like Diana Ross "upside down" however could easily have been another Chic style loop like Norma Jean "I like love" etc. Sorry for the vague - ness but it was a long time ago. I am just hoping this might mean something to someone.

Holy shit.

That sounds like the vocal - The "its not time for love" bit. Not sure if that version is right but the vocal definitely is.

Any idea's what the song and are there any other versions?

Honestly can't tell you how long I have been looking for it and how many youtube channels I have gone through (I even made a list of the youtube channels so I didn't go over the same ones twice). The thing is it's not even like I think it's the greatest song ever but once I started looking, it has become a bit of an obsession. If you have any further info that would be much appreciated and many many thanks for this.

Blimey. 26 years on and I have found it.
Funnily enough I was listening to Bunkerheadz channel on youtube who has also got it listed but haven't got that far yet.

Thanks for all your help and Spaceface - really appreciate it. I actually can't believe I have finally found it.

I'm buzzing to be honest and relieved. Searched so long for it and then started thinking maybe it was something that was just pressed on Acetate or something. I even got in contact with Jules about 5 years ago to ask him but he said he couldn't remember. Honestly didn't think I would find it.

Glad you found your track, it is indeed an amazing feeling to finally get hold of something you've been after for decades (nice work Scott)
