Hey,

I have been searching for this tune for a number of years now and i can NOT find it anywhere or know anyone who knows it......From what i remeber it was an early 90's dance tune (maybe) and i know foir sure that it began with a sample taken from Echo and the Bunnymen - The Cutter. If you haven't heard The Cutter it makes it a little more difficult but does ANYONE have any idea WTF i am on about.

I have been told it could be the following :-

blow / the cutter

But i can't find an audio clip anywhere to confirm this.

Any help would be welcome...

Cheers

Did this tune have a fat breakbeat and a deep bassline?

If so its probs Blow - The Cutter

I only actually ever heard it once, and that was on TV on a program about computer hackers. Because of the Echo and the Bunnymen sample i think the rest of the tune kinda followed that theme so it was kinda eastern sounding with (i think) a 4x4 beat.

this is definatley -

Switzerland - Inflight EP ZTT

the track is called either Chuck Apple Mad or Pornography - promoed in 1992

It was made by Martin Price (808 State) - but never came out - it was promo only - so it is pretty rare

This could also be To Be Real by Zone Ranger, completely rips the dah dah dah dah (poor excuse for a description - but if you know the cutter, you'll know what I mean). Out in 92, but you must get the original white label, the proper release didnt have clearance for the sample.

Also has the sampled vocal "I really didnt know, I wanted to be real" from some 80s pop tune, cant remember which

Top tune!
