Anybody know an "acid jazz" style tune from v. early 90s with a sample from Gaudete by Steeleye Span (folkies' Christmas song) in?

Basically it was a kind of break beat tune with this mad sample bursting in every now and again.

I reckon most people will be wondering what Gaudete is. It's on loads of The Best Now That's What I Call Christmas.....ever! type CDs.

Now don't pretend you haven't got one.......

Ray

PS I put acid jazz because the night I used to go to that played it was that kind of night.

I'm pretty sure that this will be Ashbrook AllStars - Dubbin up the pieces

basically a funky cover version of Pickin Up The Pieces by Average White Band - with the Steeleye Span sample wacked over the top

This tune is actually a lot better than it sounds :axe:

I remember this, I like it until, if I remember rightly, it has a dodgy 'opera'?? bit fused with the tune in parts
