Evening all,

I've signed up to this place to see if anyone can ID this beauty played by Martin Gee at an Ark 9 years ago. I ripped the mp3 from the Vertigo/Gee tape of the night. I've asked a few people I know from discogs but have drawn a blank so far.

The first clip is the build up to the piano and the second is another example of the much sampled of the Rowetta vocal from Sweet Mercy - Reach Out.

If anyone can link me to this on discogs they'll be making an old Ark/Gallery/Bowlers/Zone/Morecambe lover a very happy man, assuming it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

Cheers!

Complete stab in the dark but this could be worth checking...

Skila - So Nice (Vinyl) at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Skila-So-Nice/release/63686)

Cheers Mattylad, I've PMd a seller on discogs asking them to check the links here.

I've noticed, though, that the first clip I attached is actually incorrect. It should be this one.

I'm thinking this...

House Beat Mechanics - Oooh So Nice (Vinyl) at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/House-Beat-Mechanics-Oooh-So-Nice/release/380438)

p.s. the tune is also on the Grin set 'Vertigo - Bandito'

I thought I had updated this thread when I eventually ID'd the tune.
I confirmed the ID by contacting a guy on discogs who had the tune in his collection - he goes by the handle deepbass9 and he is a great guy. He ripped and uploaded the tune to youtube for me, and here it is SMPTE (To Be With You).wmv - YouTube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=xvezW-L9bFE)

Thanks to everyone who helped! I have another Ark tune to ID in my next thread... :)
