Hi
I'm after a dance song which was continuously played on kiss fm I think around 1994/95 which had the pet shop boys "its alright" the lyrics went:

Dictation being forced in Afghanistan
Revolution in South Africa taking a stand
People in Eurasia on the brink of oppression
I hope it's going to be alright
I hope the music plays forever

but its not the pet shop boys! I looked at all the remixes!

Does anyone know what the name of the artist song is? Its driving me mad!!

Thanks

Could be a remix of this one:

Sterling Void - Allright

Sterling Void & Paris Brightledge - It's All Right (Vinyl) at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Sterling-Void-Paris-Brightledge-Its-All-Right/release/53861)

A real 80's classic that contains the lyrics of the tune you're looking for.

Hyper Go-Go did a cover version in 1994:

Hyper Go-Go* - It's Alright (CD) at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Hyper-Go-Go-Its-Alright/release/592475)

HYPER GO GO IT'S Al RIGHT dance 90 - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auLj4o8Vy0Q)

Hope that you can find the tune with this info.
