**** FOUND ****
Many thanks (again) to GrooveSection for IDing this.

Last one for tonight - and if someone can get this this will complete the tracklist I've been trying to compile. This is the tune:

Obscure hardcore tune (http://www.oastone.co.uk/podcasts/ids/aud.mp3) it is: Tic Tac Toe - 456 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgOVvObC6os)

There's not really much to say about it other than it batters along at pace and has a dark ambient feel to it. I'm sure I should know what it is as I've heard it somewhere recently but there's no samples in it which normally jog my memory.

Thanks again.

J

Groovesection is on a hat - trick lol

That tune is..

Tic Tac Toe - 456

Tic Tac Toe - 456 / Ephemerol (Vinyl) at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Tic-Tac-Toe-456-Ephemerol/release/181342)

Fierce tune! ;) Ephemerol on the other side is good too!
Be prepared to get your wallet out if you want a copy on vinyl though :(

I KNEW I'd heard it as when I checked the track on YouTube it had already been linked to! You surely are the King of the Jungle! Thanks very much mate. You've done me proud. I can now list the set in full:

1. DJ Excel - Just When You Thought It Was Safe [1991]
2. SMF - Aardvark [1992]
3. Sound Corp. - Regen Time [1992]
4. Ajax Project - 4 Windows [1992]
5. Noise Factory - We Have It [1992]
6. C.M.C - Let's Rave E Buzz! [1992]
7. The Brothers Grimm - Exodus (The Lion Awakes) [1992]
8. Blame - Music Takes You [1992]
9. Mix Race - The Future Is Before Your Eyes (And The Scratch From The Man Trax) [1992]
10. Ajax Project - Crazy 4 Your Love [1992]
11. Tic Tac Toe - 456 [1992]
12. Manix - Oblivion (Staed Remix) [1992]
13. 2 Da Core - Rub A Dub [1992]
14. Noise Factory - Behold The Jungle (Original Mix) [1992]
15. CMC - Release The Energy [1992]
16. Noise Factory - We Can [1992]
17. CMC - Coming For the Jungle [1992]
18. 2 Da Core - Love Thy Brother [1992

I would love to know who mixed this set because the beat matching is pretty much spot on throughout. Even Just When You Thought It Was Safe is mixed well and that's notoriously difficult to mix away from. The who set is so fast - surely the guy must have ramped up the pitches on his decks.

Once again - thanks very much for helping me out. I owe you one.
