Heavy D and the Boyz- We've got our own thang

Had a tape from 89 that was sadly stolen along with the tape player in my car. The tape was from Centreforce Radio. DJ Randall was playing a Heavy D and the Boyz - We've got our own thang. The mix he was playing was 'Gated' or mashed up so that you couldnt understand the lyrics. i seem to have every release by heavy d or have i? either that or some white label was put out. Why couldnt the thief have ejected the tape before stealing my car stereo? Help much appreciatied.
