Hi,
I heard this tune on an old cassette mixtape and since I can't get my hands on the tape I just made a quick impression of the track myself in Ableton using two vintage synth plugins.
The bassline is the only major element in the track and I think (I hope!) I've managed to re-create the sound well enough so you would instantly recognise it if you've heard the tune before. The key and tempo are probably different from the original. Obviously the original also contains a few more musical elements but I wanted to keep it simple as the bassline is really the dominant part.
I can't be sure when this is from, but it sounds 'old skool' to me, probably early 90s.
Any clues about this would be greatly appreciated!!
