Could try just making an offer... although if I was spending that much on the Corp one I'd want it to be NM.. VG+ can be pretty poor imho... at least ask for a sample.

You're right, Chez-N-Trent - The Choice, amazing track.

Chez-N Trent* - The Choice (12") at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Chez-N-Trent-The-Choice/release/1056)

DK C.Morton - ??? is Ecstasy (3) - Twelve Minutes Of Ecstasy (12") at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/release/167245)

A couple of the sellers have sound clips, I'd been trying to ID this off a Tony Humphries tape from 92 and just found it about a week ago! Gets even better when the keys come in, listen to the sample posted by Tempest.

Yeah didn’t know that… although the New Corp one has a mix by the forgemasters on the other side which is also pretty amazing..

YouTube - RARE- New World Corporation- PIANO HOUSE CLASSIC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asoqMBQRl-Q)

.. but it was cut using a very old machine (bought from motown) that was knackered… so soundquality is poor… so the Overview one will no doubt be better.

I'm sure it was.

Ressla over at youtube said (when talking about the other side track)...

This record was released in 1992, and originally commissioned/produced by a house music loving property developer ( Andy Kilner). He had just opened a record shop in Sheffield called New World Record Corporation, hence the title.

The track was engineered/co-produced/mixed by Robert Gordon of the Forgemasters.
Anyone who heard the original master tape will tell you how amazing it sounded.

However,as you can hear, the sound quality of this recording is poor in a Chicago-trax-recycled-vinyl kind of way. That's a result of the old cutting machine that Rob Gordon used to master the vinyl. The lathe used to belong to Berry Gordy of Motown and was used to cut all the old Motown hits ,like Diana Ross , Jacksons etc and so had been in use for nearly 30 years and was pretty knackered.

Also to add to that, somebody apparently spilt water over the stampers (how?). I cant imagine that would have helped.

The B side had a mix by travelling sound system people DIY who had at the time just released a single on WARP.

Interesting story anyway.
