Hi, have been advised to come on here to seek the answers - wouls really appreciate track ID'sfor the following two tracks taken froma Dave Haslam Hacienda set in 1991... I've made contact with Haslam and he has no idea himself... hoping someone knows what they are, particularly the first one!

(samples can just be streamed from these links if you dont want to download!)

so it is - checked on you tube, the dub sounds slightly different but has the same riff and vocal so I assume this is the "Morales club mix".

Thanks for that!

First one is... Smoke Signals 'I Want Your Love'

Do you have the whole tape ripped?

actually is this your thread (from a while ago)?
Graeme Park @ Hacienda, Aug '91 - Old Skool Anthemz (http://www.oldskoolanthemz.com/forum/tracklists/35183-graeme-park-hacienda-aug-91-a.html)

Just came across this while searching for a Vinyl copy of "I want your love" (which is looking like it wont be successful) and this is definitely the tape, although it's labelled Dave Haslam... Would be interested to know whether it is Park or Haslam playing it... I think Park's probably more likely.

Yes that's my thread... did wonder if it might be the same tape mis-labled... it's deffo Parky's style and the only Haslam tape from Summer '91 I have is a totally different style. :)
