2 samples of one track on a 1989/1990 mix

My first post - my mum told me about this site so here I am. I need the attached track to be ID'd if poss. I've split it into two parts. I'm not sure if i've put it in the correct genre so please feel free to move me somewhere else. :$ My mum thought it was acid house or some oldskool trancey drum n bass - but it was played in the clubs I went to at that time and I thought it was a classic anyway.

Female vocalist sings: I'd like to stay but I'd run far far away (repeatedly) and in Part 2 there's a bit of "freedom". Thanks in advance.

thanks for replying - and yes - you are absolutely correct because do you dream followed the track i need IDing!! obviously (and take pity) i couldn't tell where one ended and the other began - duh.

if no-one on here can ID Part 1, then there's no hope left in the world:(
