Does anyone know the mix or name of this.. it could be a vocal over the 900 number or it could be an actual tune.

I used to hear this in the Thunderdome in Manchester - Miles Platting, but things are a little hazy so I ain't got much to go on. It used to go something like.

(Singing or Rap)
Things go wrong, they sometimes will
Why does it always seem uphill
...
....

DOWN..

then the 900 number sax loop.

your gonna have to be good to get this, i just re-read. but this is all I have.

ps, Is this in the right forum, it might be considered 'old skool', can the mods decide and move if necessary.

When this 1st surfaced in the late 80's i remember Lakim Shabazz was rapping over it but more dj's seem to go 4 the instrumental so u may want this version here 45 King, The - The 900 Number (Original Version) (http://www.discogs.com/release/361942)

that link says the release date was 1990, so I think I might be getting the 900 number bit confused, its the vocal part I'm after. I heard this tune around 88 or 89, it was in the quite early days of the Thunderdome.
