A friend referred me to this site and I'm really hoping someone can help me. I'm looking for a song but I can't remember the name of it so I will try and describe it to the best of my ability.

I always "thought" the song was on the B side to "The Dream" by Out Of The Ordinary. I thought that because I could have sworn a DJ friend of mine here in Houston told me that was the case 17 years ago when he would play the song all the time at Aftermath (local Houston club in the 90's). But I was incorrect.

The song has an EXTREMELY slow bass beat throughout the whole song and it has Martin Luther King speaking over the whole track. If I had to describe how slow the beat of the song is I would liken it to Sinead O'Conners song "Put Your Hands On Me" or even Ofra Haza's "Galbi". The beat is incredible!!! Anyway, Martin Luter King would say, "NOW IS THE TIME! NOW IS THE TIME! WE CAN NOT......WALK ALONE!" He would say that all throughout the whole song. The song was played at the dance clubs here in Houston in the early 90's. Some of the clubs it "could" have been played at were 6400, NRG, or Xcess. But the only club I ever heard it at was Aftermath.

I know that's not a heck of a lot to go on. But after a 15 year search for the song...this is all I have. Hopefully someone here with a lot more knowledge than myself can help me. Thanks in advance!!

Maybe This (http://www.discogs.com/release/20132) Can You Feel It (Spoken Word: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.).

Here (http://www.hardtofindrecordsrecordstore.com/mp3/MR14251_1.mp3) you have a sample.

I really appreciate the response! Edit. Just realized you gave me a sample. Unfortunatley that's not it. I really appreciate the attempt though! Anyone else have any ideas?

All throughout the song MLK says, "NOW IS THE TIME! NOW IS THE TIME! WE CAN NOT.......WALK ALONE."

I was just told by a friend that he thinks "The Weatherman" is the group. Does anyone know of a song by The Weatherman that has Martin Luther King speaking over it?

THE WEATHERMEN's place in virtuality and that kind of things. (http://www.theweathermen.net/)
