I have this track on a diy tape from lakota 1992.

The track i am after has a haunting arabian sort of tune repeated over a funky bass line and beat. the break just has one lingering note with wind sounds over the top and then it goes back into the arabian nights sort of tune! it is familiar to me but i am stumped

you have got to love my description:o

any help would be great..

also there were some people who wanted some diy mixes i have got a few now so anyone who is interested can pm me... Thnaks guys

Hi,

Might be 'Snake Charmer' by Carpe Diem? It's from 93 though, not '92.

I have a feeling it could be something by soundclash republic (Fabi Paras). His tracks from 1992 were always Eastern influenced. I know it doesn't exactly pin it down, but it's another avenue to explore. Ed
