Top set this :D

LOL. Thought I'd do a tracklist and soon realised I knew none of 'em :$ . I'm not even sure if 'I Need Somebody' is Expo Bass Sample's or a remix of Kechia Jenkins. Have a go for me please

Yes it is Expo Bass Sample's.

The vocal on the first track is taken from SK Project & Roberta Gilliam 'Your Love Is Taking Me Over', I don't think it is a remix of that though.

Sorry, can't help any more... when's the tape from, 1993?

99% sure about Kipper - Living the Night Life. Compare here (http://www.tunes.co.uk/tunes/featured/5743.html).

Dreamy is the notorious Agua Re - Holy Dance http://e.discogs.com/release/410507

next one familiar but don't remember and I don't think I have it.

Would love to know the last one. Heard this in some Montanari mixes, I believe.

Yes that's "Kipper - Livin' the nitelife (Fast remix) - Irma Records"

Could "got to do the do" be The Anixus - Do the Do (Oversky) http://e.discogs.com/release/453359

I hope it is and then again I hope not. Seems like some nutter was willing to pay silly money :fekked: for this record recently and now everybody is trying to cash in :( Propably not even this track that's causing the hype.

Cheers fellas for the info

Noel, I'm pretty sure I got the tape in 1992 although it doesn't sound like typical Parky from that period.

Why is the Agua Re tune 'notorious' :hubba: ??

It has come up here and on the Discogs forum quite a few times in the last few months. ;)

Yeah that and the discussion bout "Green Baize - Holy dance" from the Game of chance EP. Same song but the agua re is a well better edit.

Noel, I'm pretty sure I got the tape in 1992 although it doesn't sound like typical Parky from that period.I'm very much doubting this is Park.... Could be wrong like but I had a Noggy Legends set that came labled as Graeme Park - Nov 92, so it can happen. :)

I think you're right Noel, this ain't Parky.

To be honest I was always a bit skeptical myself, but like you say you can only go off what it's labelled up as when you first get the tape.:)

Confirmation:

Do the do is

Anixus - Do the do (Do the dub mix) - Oversky Records

Hammered by Montanari (so I'm told) thus the high price and the hard to find aspect :ghost:

Thanks for the confirmation nealohara  Got it confirmed myself recently but been too lazy to go searching for Mr. Shifters post so far. :$

I still think the high price for this record comes from the Feel Good track though which appearantly is an "Easygroove" classic. Maybe this E-bay sell (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THE-ANIXUS-FEEL-GOOD-1991-easygroove-classic_W0QQitemZ4837894846QQcategoryZ58641QQssPag eNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) is the one that started it all (has an audioclip of the Feel Good track too.)

Even found a fairly priced copy. One of Feel Good mixes on it is damaged so the seller let me have it for less than half of the current going rate. Still one the most expensive records I ever bought

hehe i gotta laugh though. did you check the winner:

robertduinker ( 0 ) No longer registered with eBay

as an ebay seller i fu**ing hate those bidders so i feel the sellers pain on that one!

Hopefully I'll have an id on that "good boy" track this week. took a chance on a tune on gemm. :) always a bit of fun that

Can someone verify if "seduction.....you're no good boy" is this?

Darkman Annihialiting rhythm/Seduction - Strictly Rhythm (http://www.discogs.com/release/70823)

I think it might be cause the song also sampled the "ooh's and aah's" out of the grace jones slave to the rhythm tune.

Hope it is cause I WANT IT!

Can you post a sample, Neal? I can't find mr. shifters file on my comp and the YouSendIt link doesn't work anymore. I have the Darkman record, so I suspect I would have recognized it the first time around but perhaps I missed it.
