Right, I'm getting an feeling about sample 2s true identity. I reckon it's Magick village-Hot. That's why I was thinking of Ideal! details are here. i don't have the record anymore to check (I sold as a lot with some other tunes). Anyone confirm?
http://www.discogs.com/release/75683

PS I was also thinking of the Cotton club (They were the first I checked, and I have noticed there's a cotton club mix on here!)

Saying that, I can't get the title 'Ooh La Laa' out of my head, does anyone remember a track from around '94, on a similar sort of label. I don't know.....I used to be indecisive...but now I'm not so sure. Bum,Bum tish!!!

I also have a feeling that 10 has something to do with Tumblin records. This was a big tune in Boro in about '94. The Tumblin label was based at New Groove records in Middlesbrough. I deffo have this tune somewhere. Ed

Third time lucky. I'm usually a lot sharper than this!!!

Just Double checked the Vinyl. 100% correct. I was starting to do my head in that, cos I knew I had it!!

Might have a spare copy if you're interested.

Can rest easy now...aahhh

You want to check out the A side of the Lex Loofah 12" 'Freaky deaky', corking bassline track. It was on Graeme Park's essential mix in 1994. I bought my copy from the bloke who wrote it, John Gilpin. He used to run one of the best record shops in the North, with a guy called Raz 'fourth Wave Records'-Home of Fourth wave & Phat As Phuch Records. They used to record together as Solitaire Gee and separately as Resoraz/Lex Loofah. I miss that shop sooooo much!:(

Hiya Frostie! Although the 12" is Lex loofah-Freaky Deaky, the track on sample two is actually called Ooh la la, by Lex loofah. Ed (Don't suppose it matters though-if someone buys Freaky deaky they will get the right track!!):)
