Hey people - I'm hoping you might be able to help me out. I know this is pretty vague, but this was a great mix that I'd love to find again.
Searching for a looooooong-lost techno mix that a kid in Connecticut gave to me circa 1994. His name was Billy Mrowka - not sure if he's the dj that put it together, or if he got it from a friend.
Mix started off with three-note strumming...and a sample from the Poltergeist Main Theme (just the kids singing - not the overlying music, 00:05 - 00:17). Later on it goes into strong bass beats.
Lyrics mixed in included (deep raspy guy's voice) "I don't look like my mother, I don't look like my father....I don't look like my mother, I don't look like my father." Later on, a sampling of a woman whispering "close your eyesssssss".
