Hi all,

Been recommended this place by BUNKERHEADZ on Discogs. I have 5 IDs that I've simply had no luck with getting IDd - and I've been trying for for 3 years now. The clips come from old tapes of Dale/Faver shows on London's KISS FM. Of a pile of IDs I put up 3 years ago, these have eluded all-comers, despite some people getting me going saying they recognised them, but couldn't place the name....

The clips can all be downloaded in mp3 format from this page on my website (it's safe):

CLIP 02 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_clip_please-02.mp3) - FULL TRACK 02 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_track_please-02.mp3)

CLIP 05 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_clip_please-05.mp3)

CLIP 06 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_clip_please-06.mp3)

CLIP 10 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_clip_please-10.mp3) - FULL TRACK 10 (http://www.arcart.org/z_other/ID_these/ID_this_track_please-10.mp3) - Identified by Pluto as Liquid Sun - "Tone Float" - http://www.discogs.com/release/94280

fingers crossed. thanks to anyone who takes the time to give it a go.

track 10 is just incredible. After nearly 15 years I still get goosebumps every time I listen to it. Blake Baxter has been cited as a possible artist so many times, but I don't think it's him cos someone would have known it by now, surely!

thanks anyway for trying.

I've posted it on various forums over the past 3 or so years. This is the first thread I ever posted on this forum. I've posted it on Discogs, littledetroit, maybe a couple of others.

It dosen't sound Detroit to me?.

It sounds more European or UK CLIP 10.

Isn't anything on Vinyl Solution Pluto?, sounds like something Midi Rain would have done.

Also really like CLIP 02

Ian, it is a UK release: http://www.discogs.com/release/94280 Liquid Sun - "Tone Float".

Thanks so much to pluto for getting that one for me. I think I said I'd been after it for 10 years - actually it's more like 15! I've had that mp3 clip up for 3.5 years!

I ordered a white label from the USA via Gemm.com. It's not arrived as yet but it's been marked as shipped so I'm waiting with bated breath.

I'm probably wrong but the sample on CLIP 06 'My God, Why Have You Forgotton Me' is on

Holy Noise - Father Forgive Them

Could that be it but another mix?.

Thanks a lot for trying but that's been suggested before and owners of the record have said that's not it. Just the same sample, which is taken from the film "The Last Temptation Of Christ", btw.

Right, sorry to get your hopes up on that one.
Thought there might be a chance.

Thanks for the info of the sample.
