This is a tape ID rather than a tune ID. I got this tape about 12 years ago from one of the dodgy tape sellers that used to advertise in DJ Mag. Only problem he labelled up a lot of the tapes with wrong DJ / Year etc.
This is the tracklist.

A)
1) Rythim is Rhythim - Strings of Life
2) Chanelle - One Man
3) Fast Eddie - Can You Dance
4) Ten City - Right Back to You
5) 101 - Rock to the Beat
6) LNR - Work it to the Bone
7) A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray
8) Sterling Void - Runaway Girl (Mix)

B)
1) Sterling Void - Runaway Girl (Mix)
2) Lil Louis - French Kiss (Lots of Scratching over top)
3) Ralphie Rosario Feat Xavier Gold - You Used to Hold Me
4) Landlord - I Like It (Blow Out Dub)
5) Joe Smooth - Promised Land
6) Orange Lemon - Dreams of Santa Ana (Lots of Scratching over top)
7) Ce Ce Rogers Someday

I got this labelled as Judge Jules at Sterns 1990, which I am sure it isn't.

I am thinking it is probably from Kool Kat - Sy, Alistair Whitehead possibly - it doesn't sound like Graeme Park, but I could be wrong. I think the amount of scratching on it is making me think Sy at the moment, but I don't really know.

If anyone knows the identity of this mix let me know.

Dunno, those tunes were played everywhere. It could be a Hac set, if theres scratching, it'll deffo be Pickering

The mix comes from this list if it jogs anybody's memory: Can only be one of three or four I reckon and most of these tapes are floating about....

It's proper scratching - especially over French Kiss and Dreams of Santa Ana. Can't rip the tape at the moment, sorry, but when I get the right equipment to do that then i'll put the mix up.
