Not sure about artist/title, but this sounds like something released on the Fresh Fruit Label from Holland. Ed

definitely not, i've just listened to both MG records i own, the original release (http://www.discogs.com/release/241731) and the one mentioned above with those Underworld remixes (http://www.discogs.com/release/93072). but it sounds like something by Cosmic Baby.

track 15 B uses the same piano sample as "The Ultimate Seduction - House Nation (Piano Version)" (http://www.discogs.com/release/47434)

I'v still got bound hands regarding my recs (being packaged in parcels still)

I strongly suppose 30 A being House Pimps 'Get The Hook' <- maybe someone else can check?

Hi Mate! I'm fairly sure that it ISN'T House Pimps. I used to have that 12", and i'm fairly sure that it didn't have that tune. As I recall Get the Hook used a can u dance synth sample. The track 30A is certainly a corker - Sasha-Renaissance! Ed

Ed is right, it's definitely not 'Get The Hook', checked my copy some minutes ago.

I've a pretty good feeling that this is one of the Discuss Mixes of East 17 - Its Alright
http://www.discogs.com/release/411247
I Think it is the Discuss Dub. You can hear the gated Vocal in the clip-'Alright...Alright....Everything's Gonna Be Alright'

ID 10 A - C3 R Pip 1993 Trance is Elisa 'Love Vibration' (http://www.discogs.com/release/375958)

It's not the Perfecto Mix, so is prob one of the other 2.

thanks lots for your ID-ing !

ID 30 A: Discuss Mixes of East 17 - Its Alright

.. and Ed.. you're perfectly right about the diss-cuss version above.. I have been able to check it! It's the dub.. or .. I'm about to check a third possibility there and look whether there are further diss-cuss edits than only the mix and the dub.

Hi Mate! Have checked the CD copy I bought on Ebay (for £0.04p), and it is definitely East 17-It's Alright (Diss cuss Dub). The only other dance remix other than the Disscuss Vocal/Dub, is the Uncle Bobs strung Out Mix (and it is definitely not this!!). Cheers Ed.

Hey Ed

.. checked the CD copy ..

.. I will never ever ID a CD as original as long as there is a vinyl issue.. I'm a DJ after all (and a very good one btw.) ;)

.. so.. I supposed (right).. bought.. checked/vidi.. vici! :D .. it's a promo issue from Levy And Friends and it's hot

ps. ebay goes nuts with these prices.. or you're just a very tactical buyer?? :)

It is most definitely the Diss cuss mix of East 17! I would put money on it. It was a mix done for DMC (so will probably be on one of their remix albums) What do you mean you don't take an ID of a CD???? Does it sound any Different??? Ed

I see what you mean now! Levy & Friends is on the Discuss Label & the 12" features (I suppose) the Vocal and Dub Diss cuss mixes of 'Its Alright' featured on the CD. Ed

So we're both Right Then!!

P.S. I think the CD was so cheap, as people don't know the Diss cuss mix! I mean would you have suspected it was East 17 until a week ago??

.. yes.. it has got that typical slight vinyl crackle.. also it's an art to mix with vinyl whereas cd-mixing is quite simple with all the IT available LOL.. (say, I use cd too, but as substitute only..)

well.. it may be the diss-cuss dub.. but it's certainly remix 1 as stated above (.. go on discogs.. check the artist and it's background.. and you'll get the clue ;) - btw. how about ebay.. is it cheap or are you good in tactics - oh.. just read again.. it's been unknown :D ??)

.. so for I stay with vinyl when it comes to ID-ing as long as possible phones:

.. no I'd not have supposed it being East 17 but not would have said no because a good a huge 3-track bootleg or white of 'Let It Rain' ..

btw. I suppose having just provided me with the last vinyl copy of the Remix1/It'sAllright available worldwide.. otherwise you just got the diss-cuss mix (vocal) on the official releases..
